Who this notice covers

This notice applies to the independent website published under the Septic Tank Cost name at septictankcost.com. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to [email protected].

Calculator inputs

The calculator processes entries in your browser. It does not request or transmit your name, email address, phone number or street address. Calculator selections, measurements and results are not sent to analytics. If you later request quotes, the project brief you choose to submit is stored with that request so it does not have to be entered twice.

Technical requests

Cloudflare helps deliver, protect and measure the site. It may process routine request information needed for those services, such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to measure aggregate visits and page performance. Cloudflare describes the service as privacy-first and says it does not collect or use visitors' personal data or track individual users across its customers' sites. The limited beacon data is not used here for advertising, profiling or lead scoring.

Interaction measurement

The site may record approved event names and the page path—for example that an estimate was viewed or a quote form was started—in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. It does not send selected options, measurements, project notes, photographs, contact details or estimate values to analytics. Aggregate event data is retained by Cloudflare for three months.

Quote requests and photographs

If you choose to request quotes, we collect the requested service, project size, context, your relationship to the request, timeframe, primary ZIP code and—where a route is required—delivery ZIP code, project brief, optional photographs, notes, first name, mobile number, email address and contact preference. We use this information to validate the request, identify suitable coverage, contact you about it, and—only under explicit quote-request consent—share it with up to two matched septic professionals where possible.

Project and contact data is stored in a private lead database. Photographs are stored outside the public website. Operational notifications omit contact details, exact ZIP codes and photographs; they may include only the reference, broad routing area, service, project summary, timeframe and lead-quality indicators.

Provider applications

A business application may contain business and contact names, phone, email, website, base ZIP code, coverage radius, services, minimum project value, verification status, years trading and preferred lead volume. We use it to review coverage and discuss relevant commercial opportunities.

Recipients, retention and your choices

Website infrastructure and security providers process information only as needed to operate the service. Submitted project and contact details may be sent to the limited businesses selected for that request. We do not bundle unrelated marketing consent and do not publish submitted photographs or contact details.

We retain quote-request information only while needed for matching, service administration, disputes, suppression or legal obligations. Unmatched personal details and photographs have a working review point of 90 days; records may be retained longer where an active request, complaint, contract or legal obligation requires it. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, or withdraw consent for future matching, by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal does not undo lawful sharing already completed at your request.

Email enquiries

If you email us, we use the message and reply details to answer the enquiry and maintain necessary correspondence. Do not send more personal information than the request requires.
